Experiencing Colombia from Your Living Room

Working for a major travel publication during 2020 as the pandemic took off was a memorable experience. There were stressful logistics, new restrictions, and questions of morality (Can we give travel inspiration? What about our writers around the world, can we keep asking them to visit new places?). One of our “all hands on deck” strategies was to launch the ‘Stay Curious’ series of articles where in-house editors wrote pieces about the countries they were the most familiar with and how to experience them from home. As the editor of the Americas region and former Colombian resident, the Colombian version of ‘Stay Curious’ naturally fell to me.
